FROBISHER CUP AND MEDALS PRESENTED

-Thi? morning tho Governor General, Lord Jollicoe, -isiierf tho Hood to present in1 the presence of all competing crews, the handsome silver Froliisher Cup and modals to the Chatham cutter crew, winners of the final in the ships' race a few days ago by a narrow victory of four-fifths "of a second from the Hood's crack cutter crew. The Gover-nor-General, accompanied by Commodore Beale, of tho Chatham, was received on board with due' ceremony by a parade of Royal Marines and the ship's band, and in a brief speech congratulated .the Chatham men, the runners-up, and other

competitors, .handing the cup to the coxswain of the ,Ch3tiiam. crew, and presenting each member with the Frobisher .medal. ; ■ . : The donor, Mr. J. Frobisher, was a popular nian on "board this morning, and was given .the honours of each pulling, member of the ships' crows with loud applause and ha'rty handshaking. At, .9.45 Lord .Jellicoe left the shin, saluted again by the company of marines and the ship's band, bugles ringing out from the Repulse as we,U as on board the. Hood.
