RAILWAY ARRANGEMENTS

In order to meet the desires of the far-back schools to see the Special Ser^ vice Squadron, the Railway Department has recast-and extended its proposals for to-morrow's excursion trains. The sphool excursion starting from Clareville at 8.55 a.m. is cancelled, and the following trains will run on Wednesday: "(a) Running northward from Wangamairi 7.10, Konini 7.16, Pahiatua 7.30, Mangatainoka 7.43, WoodviUe 8.10, joining up there with the train from Dannevirke, and reaching TJiorndon a t 12.46; leaving Thorndon at 4.30 p.m. ■;{b) Running southward from Hukanui 7.5.
