DEATH UNDER AN ANAESTHETIC

: ■ TAUMARUNUI, This Day. The adjourned inquest concerning 'the death of Henry Walkey, who expired while under an anaesthetic at Taumarunui, Hospital, was concluded yesterday. Dr. Fisher, medical' superintendent, corroborated the evidence of Doctors Howard and Vivian. . The. Coroner returned a verdict that death was due to cardiac failure, induced by chloroform poisoning, no blame being attachable to anyone.
