„ AUCKLAND, 30th April. i At the Supreme Court to-day, the following prisoners were sentenced .-—John Butchart Kyd, for theft of £2000 from Bycroft and Company, his . employers, , v e?s rs hard ' labour j' Frederick John M Donald, on seventeen charges of theft and three of false pretences at Gisborne, involving £321, two years' hard labour; Francis Hugh Corcoran, forgery and false pretences, and obtaining credit by fraud at Hamilton, three years' hard labour; William M'Allis■ter. alias Campbell, indecent assault at Taumarunui, four years' hard labour.
