FAHMY BEY'S FORTUNE
WIDOW DIVULGES A' PLOT,

The Central News Agency's Paris correspondent reports a remarkable story concerning Madame Fahiny Bey, who is living, in France. It is understood that owing to legal obstacles she cannot inherit her husband's fortune of two millions sterling. ■ ■ It is alleged that Cassab Bey, a Cairo millionaire, recently approached Madame Fahmy Bey, suggesting that she should obtain a male child, claim that she was the mother of it, and arrange medical support for her story. Then it would be easy to gain possession of the estate. She pretended to be favourable to the scheme, but told the police, in whose hearing, it is alleged, Cassab repeated the offer and declared that he had found, a doctor to play the desired part.
