Lord Jellicoe recorded his great pleasure at being able to present the 115 th Company of Scots College with the coveted cup. It was a cup that it was a. great honour to win, and this honour was one which he could not but congratula*e the company on. Last year he' had had the privilege of presenting the cups to the Nelson College Company, and he expected .that there would be great rivalry between the two companies in the next year. He hoped that the best team would win. • He had not had the privilege of inspecting the college previously, but he hoped that he would be able to make, a visit and see the pupils at work before he-left New Zealand. He had often'seen the boys at play wMIe he was hunting for his ball at the 12th hole on the near-by golf course. Mr. R. A Vines,'principal of the college, then presented, the Governor-Gen-eral with an engraved badge of the school, in honour of his visit, and in .memory of.the ceremony
