FROZEN MEAT PRICES.

The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Departemnt, has received the following advice from its London office, under date 4th April:— "Trade in wether mutton is slow. Owing to heavy arrivals of Argentine, the market for ewes is depressed. There is a better tone prevailing in the market for lambs No quotations for beef. Wethers, light, 7Jd to BJd per lb; heavy, sjd to 7Jd; ewes, 4ld to OJd. Lambs, under 42's, tljd to 10! d; over 42's, od to Did; seconds, 9d to OJd; "Australian, 8d to Od; Argentine, 8d to Od."
