PICNIC
Favoured by ideal weather conditions the annual picnic of the District Telegraph Engineer's Branch was held at Trentham Racecourse. Over 400 people attended the gathering, the success of which was no doubt due to the fine work of the enthusiastic committee who spared no effort in their endeavour tr, make the function a., success. At the end of the day the District Telegraph Engineer, Mr. H. L. Cummings, presented trophies to the winners of the undermentioned events :—looyds Mens' Handicap : H. L. Ryan 1, H.
