NEW ZEALAND ARMY ASSOCTA-
„ TION'S MEETING.
The second annual meeting of the New Zealand Army Ritte Association will open at Trenthani to-morrow, and will be continued each day until Friday next. The chief competitors will be those who have gained the right to shoot by performances at the various command meetings which have been held during the past month, and competition is sure to be keen. The main event will be the Army Championship, .the winner of which'will hold the champion, belt and the N.Z.A.R.A. gold' jewel during the year. The matches for the-championship will be 300 yards (rapid), 300 yards isnap-shooting in- the open), 600 yards (deliberate), and 600 yards to ICO yards (tire with movement). The 100 highest scorers in the championship match will fire in 'the matches for the King's Medal. In addition to otKer matches, there will be a Vickers machine-gun match, a Lewis gun match, a Hotchkiss gun match, and other competitions of an interesting description. Shooting will commence at an early hour to-mor-row morning.
