LIBERALS CERTAIN TO SPLIT.

LONDON, 30th December. «,v, Garvin, writing in the Observer," says: "Whatever may' be the difficulties of a three-party system, aSolution can never be sought by kindling hostilities between the Monarchy and the Labour Party, which includes a larger number of the King's, subjects than Liberalism.

"The Constitution will right itself when another dissolution occurs. The Liberal Party will be certain then to split again, and for good. Part will join Labour, and part Unionism. In effect the two-party system, will be restored, and the sooner the better."
