ADVICE TO MINISTRY
CHALLENGE PARLIAMENT.
' . LONDON, 30th December. The "Sunday Times' says: "The Government must face the new House, not as a culprit awaiting sentence, but as the strongest political organisation, both m Parliament .and in the country. It must obviously delete Protection and propound a policy of extended social and industrial insurance, and rigid economy. I: must challenge Parliament, particularly the Liberals, to find in that platform any excuse for turning.it out. Cooperation between the parties there has gof to be, else the representative system* .collapses and the State is hurled into chaos."
