SHIP'S PASSENGER DROWNED

The body of Miss Mary Ellen Moran, a passenger by the Marama from Sydney yesterday, was found on the beach at Kau Point, near Point Halswell, this morning by Mr. W. H. May, a gunner of Fort Dorset. Miss Moran^ who resided at Bidwell street, had been on a visit to Australia for the benefit of her health, and was accompanied on the trip by her two sisters. She was last seen alive early yesterday morning in an alleyway close to her cabin. On the mustering of the passengers for medical inspection, Miss Moran was missing. An inquest will be held.
