The Paraparaumu Sports Club held its first evening meeting recently, the results.being as follow:— 75 Yards Boys' Race.—Clarke and Murphy (dead heat), 1; Batten, 3. Boys, under 11 years.—Murph, 1; Cluney, 2; Fisher, 3. 440 Yards, senior.—E. Brazier (scr) 1; W. Mowbray (4yds), 2; C. Mowbray (3yds), 3. Also, started: Corner and Foster. -, . ■ 220 Yards, junior.-JV Mac Lean (6yds) 1; Clarke (2yds), 2; Howell (10yds), 3. A splendid finish. One Mile, seniors.—E. Wegeerv (10yds), 1; B. Foster (50yds), 2; Cameron (100 yds), 3. Won by ten yards. Ladies' Race, 75 yards.—Miss Weggery, 1; Miss Brazier, 2; Mis s Jeffries, 3. Eight starters. 880 Yards, junior.—J. Mac Lean, 1; Clarke, 2; Adams, 3. The best race of the evening, inches separating the placed division. Long Jump.—Brazier (17ft sin), 1; Corner (16ft Bin), 2; C. Howell (17ft 6in), 3.
