LATEST MEAT PRICES.
The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London offlcß, under date 23rd November :— "Wethers firm. Ewes are firm- with upward tendency. Lambs are in sufficient supply to meet • demand, und the market is quiet but firm. Beef is steady. Wethers, light, 7Jd to BJd; wethers, heavy, cjd to 7Jdj ewes s*d to 6Jd; lambs under 42's, 9Jd to Hid: lambs over 42's, 9d to 9Jd; lambs Becorids, 9}d to 10{d; ox hmds, 4d to 4{d; ox fores 3d to BJd; cow hinds, 3*d to 4d; cow fores, 23d to 3d."
