TRAINING COLLEGE CONCERT.

A very successful concert was held at the Teachers' Training College, Kelburn, on Friday night. The College Glee Club delighted an enthusiastic audience w,ith/ its rendering of the comic opera, "Merri e England," by Edward Germain. Th» entertainment was enhanced by the solo' work, that of Mrs. Andrews (contralto))" in the part of Elizabeth being well per-, formed. Mrs. F. P. Wilson (soprano) gave several pleasing items as "Bessie" Throckmorton," Mr. Williams (tenor), and Mr. L. N". Smith (baritone), of the College Glee Club, • were well'received, and nad to respond to encores. The chorus was ably conducted by Mr. E. l K. ,Lomag, and Mr. •G. C. Smith did good work as accompanist.
