METHODIST SYNOD
The annual Synod of the Wellington Methodist District concluded it* sessions yesterday afternoon. ,
The appointment of a. Wellington District Executive Committee, such committee to include in its operations the work of the various sub-committees at present operating, was^ recommended by the Synod.
The following resolution in connection with the recent Christian healing mission held in Wellington, was passed unanimously: "That this Synod expresses its deep gratitude to God for the spiritual blessmg attending the Christian healing mission held in our city, and believes that.it will have permanent influence upon the physical and spiritual life of the community. The Synod also desires to express its appreciation of the brotherly spirit manifested by the Bishop ' and clergy of the Anglican Church in associating other sections of the Christian Church with them in the mission, thus demonstrating the oneness of all followers of our Lord Jesus Christ."
The next Synod is to be held at Lower Hutt at a date to be fixed by the chairman. Votes of thanks to the chairman, secretary, and assistants, hosts and hostesses, and the trustees of Taranaki Street Church, were passed, the Synod closing at 4 p.m.
