SUNSHINE AND CLOUD

The report from the Meteorological Office to-day indicates that weather conditions are muGh about the same as those of the past few days. The skies have been changeable, bright sunshine alternating with gloom in most parts of the Dominion, and occasional showers have been reported in aome places. Atmospheric pressure has been unsteady—rising and falling. Moderate to strong westerly breezes, with a southerly tendency, are expected, and there is little lil^hhood of much movement in the barometer at the present time, although a rise is due everywhere soon. With fickle winds, the skies are likely to continue cloudy to overcast at times when misty rain may' be expected. Seag are mostly smooth round the Now Zealand coast.
