MIRAMAR AND WATTS PENINSULA
A general meeting of members of the Miramar and Watts Peninsula Progressive Association was held last night in the South Miramar School, Mr. A. R. Pei-ston presiding over a good attendance of members. The main subject of the meeting was the proposed amalgamation of the two associations. A motion was put that it was desirable for the two associations to link forces under one heading, and with one common object of furthering the interests of the district. The motion was carried after some little discussion, but some difficulty, arose as to what name the association should bear, 'Watts Peninsula Municipal Electors Association" or "The Miramar Progressive Association." A show of hands was taken, the decision being for the 'Watts Peninsula Municipal Electors' Association."

Redshaw, D.ckson, J Troy, Patterson; secretary Mr. Patrick; treasurer, Mr. Ellestoncommittee, Messrs.
