Other selected brand 3of lamb, 29-361b, laid; 3"-421b lOjd. Market Is quiet but Arm. ! Mutton—Light -weigJit wethers, Bjd; medium T-aight -wethers, "Jd; Ijeavy, VJd; ewes, 6d Sales slow. "Ox Beef—Fores, 3}d; hinds, 4Jd. A fur-1 ther advance is expected in consequence of Argentine exporters ceasing operations owing to the Argentine Government having fixed nifmmum prices." The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from it|| London office under date 26th'October: JSlarket. for -wethers is depressed owing to awsence of demands. Ewes are also in poor demand. Lamb market is quiet, but firm with supplies .sufficient to meet demand. Beef market is steady.
