: The Wellington Homing Pigeou' Society held its weekly race from Frankton Junction.on Saturday. The weather on liberation was showery, ivitli a southerly wind. -The- placed birds were as follows": Sir. J. H. Clark's blue ticked cock. W. 1921-103 came first with a velocity of 539.9 yards per minute. Mr. E. Newson's blue chequer hen "YW 1920-666; came second, with 831.5 yards; Mr. W. E" Clark's blue chequer pied cock W 1922-500, third with 831.2 yards, and Mr. G-.,-Wilson's blue chequer "cock W. 1922----31,. fourth, with 828 yarde According (o,:;the velocities the weather must have been troublesome.
