FEAR OF INSANITY
SUICIDE OF A MILLIONAIRE.

(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABT.B ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 14th October. Nathaniel Rothschild, brother of Lord Rothschild, was found with his throat cut in a bathroom of his country home at Astonvvold.
At the inquest, Dr. Turner said he received an. urgent message from Mrs. Rothschild and went to the bathroom, but found the door locked on the inside. He then fetched a bailiff and toegther they forced the door and discovered Rothschild in his pyjamas with his throat cut and a razor on a table nearby. He knew no reason why he should commit suicide. He was always happy and cheerful.
Kate Jordan, curator of tha Rothschild private museum, said she came to Astonwold on Wednesday to see the deceased on a scientific matter and found him depressed: Rothschild frequently exclaimed: "I am going mad," and spoke of hearing voices. She understood there tiad been insanity in the family. The "Sunday Express" says that Nathaniel Rothschild inherited tho bulk of his father's fortune of Several millions, as well as an interest in the firm. He practically rebuilt the village of Astonwold, in the interests of the tenants.
