BUTTER QUIET, CHEESE DULL.

LONDON, 11th October. Butter is. very quiet- Sales of all sorts have been small. New Zealaud choicest, 192s to IUSs; Danish, 202s to 2045; Australian, nominally 184s. Cheese is dull. Quotations are easier owing to Canadians again reducing c.i.f. prices. Little New Zealand cheese is available; itis- quoted nominally at about IOSs.

The .New Zealand; Loan and Mercantile Company is advised by its London office, under date "12th October, as follows:—

"New Zealand Dairy Produce.—Butter, 190s to 196s per cwt; cheese, 104s to lius Markets slow."
