(Received 12th October, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, 11th October. The weather was fairly good at Lympne for the gliding contests. Captain MacMillan broke the speed record by flying at 66£ miles an hour, covering 25 miles at an average speed of 76 miles per hour.
