ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

A pleasing Junction took place at the V.M.C.A., when the trophies and prize money won at the championship meeting were presented to the winners by Mr. G. Mitchell, president of the association. Mr. Mitchell referred to the many possibles put up, and congratulated the members generally on the good shooting, making special reference to Misa' Bish, of the Featherston Ladies' Club, who had shot exceedingly well, and who was only beaten by one point in the aggregate, which was won ,by Mr. Webb, of the Brooklyn Club. The prizes were as follow:—

Match No. I.—lnvitation Match: Wilson, 70, 12s 6d and Whitcombe and Caldwell's £1 Is trophy. Webb 70, 12s 6d and W. H. Tisdall's £1 Is trophy. Nelson 70, 12s 6d and Clarke and Morris's £1 Is trophy. Graham, S. Spencer, Worsfold, Westwood, M'Kenzie, M'Bain, Mrs. Pickard, M'Nab, Waters, Wannell, and Misses Nix and Weston 69, 2s each. Ladies' prizes: Miss Nix, Wellington Harbour Board Club's trophy 10s 6d, and Miss Weston, Wellington South Club's 10s 6d trophy. • Match No. 2.—Wellington Match: Nicholl, 100, 16s and Levin and Co.'s £1 Is trophy. Rees, 100, 16s and W. J. Blundell's SI Is trophy. Turner, 100, 16s and Clark and Morris's 10s 6cl trophy. Miss Bish, 100. 16s, and H. Price, 100, 16s. Webb, S, Spencer, M'Donald. 69, 6s each.

Match No. 3.—Ladies' Match: Miss Bish, 69, 12s 6d and Brooklyn Club's £1 Is trophy. Mrs. Crawford, 69, 12s 6d and Mrs. Wild's £1 Is trophy. Miss L. Campbell, 69, 12s 6d, Clarke and Morris's 10s 6d trophy. Mrs. Marshall, Miss Sullivan, Mrs. Tunks, and Miss Budd, 68, 3s each.
