FALL IN BUTTER PRICES

Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of 11th October:—

"Dairy produce market depressed, and buyers are holding off. Prices nominal. We quote New Zealand .salted 1945, 198s; Danish, 204s (208s); finest Australian salted 186s, 190s. Unsalted not quoted. Good average quality Australian 176s (180s). "Cheese.—New Zealand white 108s (118s), coloured 110s (120s); Canadian 106s to 108s, c.i.f. 105s (114s)."
