Elocution, boys A Tre wir W fanganUi r l i l .ladies' Zita 'Chapman, Wellington. The local medal in the same section was won by L Ball Wa pP n!£ a cinq action: Miss L. Broadhead Wanganui. Shield for juvenile choirs, to Palmerston North, birls elocutionary, J. Tonks, Hawera In connection with an unpleasant incident which led to Mr. Temple White, musical judge, replying warmly to criticism by conductors of two local choirs, the members of the BanUst ur° Ir r'-f/- WhUe befM« hi, departure at midday and apologised, for the conduct of their conductor.
