REPRESENTATIONS TO THE
MINISTER.
Representations are being made to the Minister of Labour (the Hon. G. J. Anderson) by the New Zealand Operative Butchers' Federation, in accordance with unanimous resolutions passed at the annual conference of that organisation a few days ago, for amendments to the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act^ . ' , ,
An amendment of the Act is sought providing for assessors on the Court to be engaged in, or to have had experience in, the industry involved in every case coming before the Court This would necessitate the appointment of different assessors for every case -and would do away with the permanent appointments.
