WELGASCO AND KARORI.
The match between Welgasco and Karori,,on ; Kilbirnie Park, had its occasional' flashes of spectacular play, but on the whole was inclined to be loose and rather scraggy. Welgasco gained their first point through Smith, and very shortly afterwards Moss sent through .a second. Karori went away or. the wing, Gladstone receiving and cutting-in towards goal, and when in good, position shooting hard past the, keeper. ' 2-1-Welgasco lidded a couple more, the scorers being Guinnell and Thompson, and Wilkins put through^ second for Karori. '4-2. Karon's front, line'; men. Bettled down better as the second spell pror gressed, but were unable to push their attacks home, and the game ended without farther score. Mr. B. Martin refereed.
