OSCAR ASOHE'S FAREWELL.
A very successful season- 'extending over two weeks was concluded by the Uscar Asche Company on Saturday, v.hen both a, matineo and an evening performance wers given of the spectacu--1-.- "Chu. Chin Chow." At the conclusion of the piece in the evening session Mr .Asche, 'in bidding farewell to the audience, promised to return to Wellington when he would attempt what he described as "something more in the acting line. He intended to stage some of j.liakcsnearo's works, "Othello," "Macfen 1 ' ,' <The Tamug.of the Shrew." and ihq Merry Wives of Windsor." The company left at midnight for the South.
