Moiseiwitscli; wuo is • having a ■ triumphal tour of Australia, both financially and artistically, will give a series of four concerts only at tho Grand Opera House on Thursday, Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, 6th, Bth, 10th, and 12th September. The ' world-famous pianist comes to the Dominion at the heicht of his career. He is at the present the favourite pianist of the day in France England, and America, and in each of these countries is always assured of a tremendous welcome. Recently in Melbourne, the "Sun," in speaking of the opening concert in that city, said • "In its even- variety of total colour there has been-no playing in Melbourne to compare with that of Benno Moisei.WLsch. Every note that he inspired from his piano on Saturday night was endowed with its own special flash of light; was a little picture on its own account. It would be impossible to say of a single one of them that it was dull m hue. Moiseiwitsch will include in his opening programme works from those great masters Bach, Beethoven, Chopin Ranuel, Debussy, Stravinsky, Scriabine' and Liszt.
