HARRIERS
The weekly run of the Brooklyn Harriers wns held afc Island Bay on Saturday last. Influenza and other causes accounted for a somewhat meagre attendance of runners, but in spite of this, and the inclement weather, the run was thoroughly enjoyed. .A handicap run-in was held over the last'lso yards of the course, and resulted in a win for W. Ewing, with D. Mills and F. Harleu close up. Next Saturday an invitation' run will be held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Taylor, Hataitai.
