SHORTT'S THEATRE.

One of the most powerful picture dramas ever seen at Shortt's Theatre is

'"Drums of Fate," a- new Paramount picture, featuring .Mary. Mi'es Minler, which is being shown there to-day. The picture is clean, wholesome entertainment from start to finish. The story is one of New York and . the African jungles. Miss Minter as Carol Dolliver, does the best acting of her career in this production, mid is ably supported by Maurice B. Flynn, George F'awcett, Robert Cain, Casson Ferguson, Bertram Grassby, md Noble Johnson. Charles Maigne did the directing, and Will M. Ritchley adapted the story for the screen. A glimpse of the younger generation at its play is given in "Thr> Love Charm," which is the second feature. Their jazz parties, their moonlight swimming soirees, their daring dress,'and their amazing talk, all find a vivid record in the picture as a, background for the love story of the appealing, old-fashioned heroine, enacted by Wanda Hawley, the Realart sta>- Included in the programme are "The PillPounder" (comedy), a Burton Holmes Travelogue, and the usual Gazette.
