■ LONDON, 19th. June. The "Daily Express's" Berlin correspondent says tlie latest slump in the luin'k has not-been accompanied tiy the usual wild scenes of previous slumps. The mass of the people no longer have sufficient money to purchase bare necessities. L'he -shops are nearly empty, and stooiksejDers are watching the mark fill!, and steadily visinjr prices. Practically retilerfi have ceased calculating in marks, using dollars instead. Germany's masses are showing signs of un;resi. ■.. ■ >..,., The Reichstag committee considering the cause of the slump is unable, to discover a scapegoat. The general opinion is that unless means are found of avoiding the catastrophe German currency will follow the Russian roublo and an economic crash is bound to follow a financial crash,
