NOT CONVINCING

EXPLANATION OF TURKISH CONCENTRATIONS

GREEKS FULL OF CONFIDENCE.

LONDON, 25th May.

The "Daily Telegraph's" diplomatic correspondent says the Turkish movements of troops from Asia Minor to Eastern Thrace is not accepted in diplomatic and military circles in London. The explanation given is that they are demobilised soldiers, usually resident in Thrace, but the Serbians at any rate are under no illusion on the subject, and they are increasing the precautionary measures on the frontier of Serbian Macedonia, where there are two divisions already.: The Greek army in Thrice is estimated at sixty thousand bayonets. Greek politicians and generals declare that the aim is not reannexation of Eastern Thrace, but by driving the Turks into the sea to bring Angora to its senses.
