Mr. Thomas Shields, well known in sporting circles and an enthusiastic worker in the Boys' Institute, met with a nasty accident while cycling along Oriental Bay this morning. He fainted and fell from tha machine, receiving cuts and bruires to the head. He was admitted to the Hospital, nutl the report from the institution this afternoon was that Mr. Shields's condition did not appeal' at pre.Jtoul id bo saritiufi.
