DAIRY CONTROL BILL
(II TELEORAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATIOH.)
STRATFORD, 25th May.
A very largely-attended meeting of delegates, representing the majority of the factories in Taranaki, to-day discussed the Dairy Produce Control Bill, and a resolution was submitted as follows: "That this conference of dairy factories support the efforts' of "the council in endeavouring to get . the Bill through Parliament." The motion, however, was lost, and it was finally decided to defer decision for one month to give individual factories an opportunity of expressing an opinion. Tho discussion occupied the whole day.
