I MONTHLY MEETING OF DIREC- | TORS. At the last monthly meeting of the board of directors of the V.M.C.A., Mr. A. P. Smith, president, in, the chair, it was announced that during the month of April the membership had increased by 25, the numbers now being :—Seniors, 539; young men's, 199; boys, ill; total, 1149. An account was given of the various activities of all branches of the association's work. The gymnasium attendance report for April showed a total attendance of 1716; average attendance per class, 36._ The report of the House Committee disclosed the fact that both the Willis street and Donbank Hostels were practically full, and it is anticipated that this will continue during the winter, mouths. The cafeteria wae reported as .being increasingly used by the membership. The Religious Work Committee reported good attendances at the various meetings of the association.
