EMELIE POLINI.
"My Lady's Dress," the new play in which the popular English actress, Miss Emelie Politii, is to make her welcome reappearance' in. this city at the Grand Opera House next Friday night, is by the famous author, Edward Knoblock, who was responsible for "Kismet" and "Milstones," and many other dramatic successes. Miss Polini, it is said, has given no more wonderful demonstration of her art than in this new play, in which she has a bewildering variety of scenes, and in each she displays remarkable versatility. Her acting in this piece is said to be grim, vital, and convincing. Mr. Frank Harvey, the popular leading man, also plays a series of varied roles in this play with rare artistry. This production will be staged for seven nights only. During the season, which is limited to nineteen nights, "The Lie," "French Leave," and "The Flaw" will be presented. The box plans for the seven performances of "My Lady's Dress" will open at The Bristol next Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock.
