NEW COMMITTEE ELECTED FOR

OTAGO.

DUNEDIN, 10th May.

A general meeting of the Otago Boxing Association was held to-night to consider what steps should be taken in view of the disqualification of the executive by the New Zealand Boxing Council. The president and executive decided to resign in a body, and a new chairman was appointed for-the meeting. A Provisional Committee was then set up from members of the association not concerned in the disqualification, and the tneeting authorised this Provincial Committee to apply for reaffiliation to the Boxing Council.
