MESOPOTAMIA CONTROL
LENGTH OF OCCUPATION.
I LONDON, 29th April The "Sunday Express" says Sir Percy Cox, High Commissioner of Mesopotamia, during a, fa.ye.well banquet at Bagdad, foreshadowed that the British occupation, in Mesopotamia would last four years longer, He declared he could not speak for the Government except to state that pea.cc with Turkey was essential. He bad no doubt the .British wquld stay . until Mesopotamia, could stand alone, wjth ultimate independence, which would have been finally acHievad in four years.
