HEAVY GALE RAGING
WAIROA RIVER IN FLOOD.
(BI TILBQRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIV. ION.) WAIROA, This Day. A heavy gale has been raging here since early on Wednesday morning. There has been much rain, which has resulted in the river being in flood. Two small slips have occurred on the railway line near Waikokopu, and several more are reported on Wharerata Hill. It is still raining heavily, and shows no signs of abating.
