ROTARY CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting and dinner of the Wellington Rotary Club were held at the V.M.C.A. rooms on Tuesday evening, Rotarian A. F. Roberts presiding. The chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, congratulated the club on its increase in membership. Greetings were received from Rotarian J. L- Ralston, of Halifax, the founder of the Wellington Club. A brief address was delivered by Rotarian A. Jolly on "The Meaning and Ideals of Rotary." Rotarian D. Smith welcomed rotary as a movement for i bringing greater brightness and happi- I ness into life. ' ' A programme of instrumental music was supplied by Braund's orchestra, and songs and recitations were contributed by Rotarians Roberts, Albert Russell, Loughnan, J. Brisden, and E. Baldwin. Community singing was also a feature of the entertainment, and an enjoyable evening was spent.
