THE GAS BOARD
PETONE AND HUTT REPRESENTS TIVES.
The electors of Lower Hutt and Petone were called upon yesterday to elect a Gas Board. Lower Hut returned the three retiring members. At Petone, two out of thre,e retiring members sought reelection, and only one was re-elected. The results were:— LOWER HUTT. •Strand, W. T 1428 •Hobbs, A. J 1325 •Meldrum, W. J 1113 (The above are elected.) Poole, H. J 622 PETONE. Piper. J. 974 . "Hay, W 969 Anderson, A. - 942 (Tho above are elected.) •Brockelbank, C. P. '.:. 823 Scholefield.A i 700 .. Seddon, W 457 , Informal' 71 •Retiring member.
