OPIUM SMOKERS FINED

AUCKLAND, This Day.
Two Chinese, Ah Pard and Henry Sheea, were each fined £35 at the Police Court this morning for being in possession of opium suitable for smoking. The police raided a laundry, and found both accused smoking opium, and also found two tins of the drug.
