ELEVEN MONTHS' FIGURES

IMPROVED BY NEARLY £5,000,000. A brief statement setting out the financial operations of the Government over a period of eleven months of the financial .year, which closes on 31st March next, was issued by the Prime Minister last evening. It ehowed that the revenue for the eleven months increased by £2,213,381, as' compared with the. first eleven months of 1921-22; while the expenditure was down by £2,454,071, making, on the balance, an improvement to the extent of £4,667,459.
