THE CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL.

The semi-finals in the open croquet championship were decided yesterday, when' Mrs. Gardner played Mrs. Smith and won the first game, 26-15, and the final was won by Mrs. Gardner, 26-17. Mrs. Gardner (Kelburn Club), having won both lives, has proved herself the local champion. Mrs. Leech (Wellington Club) and Mrs. Norton Smith (Ngaroma Club) tied for second place.
