OPENING DAY AT WAIKATO.

(BI TELEGRAPH.—PKESS ASSOCIATION.) CAMBRIDGE, 7th March. VjThe Waikato Central Agricultural Society's twentieth annual show opened at Cambridge to-day in fine weather. The show is good all round Hacks and hunters are a strong class,. as also are carriage and harness horses. The juvenile section is a specially attractive feature. There are excellent entries in the horse competitions, and the milking Shorthorns, Friesians, and Jersey cattle are all splendid' classes with large entries. Field roots and vegetables have fair entries, while-home industries are a specially attractive feature of the show. The attendance was fair, but a very large crowd is expected to-morrow (People's Day).
