PALMEBSTON N., This Day. While blasting at Top Camp, Mnngahao, last evening, two men, A. Sturgeon and D. Gray, placed three charges of gelignite in the tunnel. Two charges were heard to go off. The men later went back and just when they arrived the third charge exploded, injuring Sturgeon in one eye, the face, and neck" and Gray in the face.' Both were sent to the Palmerston Hospital, where they are progressing favourably.
