KELBURN TRAM PURCHASE

DATE OF THE POLL.

There is a possibility that the poll on. the question of the Kelburn tram purchase may be deferrecT till the date . of the municipal election in ApriL '

Councillor L. M'Kenzie made a suggestion to this effect at last night s meeting of the City Council, and the Mayor said that ,it was. worth while considering in order to save expense, as Councillor M'Kenzie had said. Mr. WWght stated that it was hoped to take the poll on the question of reticulating Onslow and Karori on the day of. the municipal election. By taking all the polls at the one time expense .would certainly be saved.
