FIERCE FIRE IN SYDNEY

SYDNEY, 14th December.
Fire gutted a large store belonging to the Harbour Trust Commissioner in Erskine street. The store was crammed mostly ;with inflammable materials, including a large quantity of turpentine, wax vestas, kauri gum, and oils, which burned with extreme fierceness.
